Job summary

Finning Canada is seeking a strategic HR Manager in Edmonton to partner with senior leaders, drive workforce planning, and lead HR programs across business units. You will influence organizational change, develop talent, and ensure alignment with Finning's goals.

The role requires a seasoned HR leader capable of building trusted relationships, guiding leaders, and managing complex employee relations and performance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, Business, or related discipline.
• CPHR designation (or actively maintained equivalent).
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in complex organizations.
• Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience.
• Proven success partnering with senior leaders in a strategic HR advisory capacity.
• Experience leading organizational change initiatives and HR projects.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian labour and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leaders on workforce planning, succession planning, talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce, organizational, leadership, and employee relations matters.
• Partner with HR COEs to implement programs aligned with strategic business goals.
• Anticipate business needs and develop proactive HR solutions for future requirements.
• Lead and facilitate organizational change initiatives and HR projects.
• Provide direction in labour relations matters, including investigations where needed.
