Job summary

BMO Financial Group seeks a strategic Managing Director, Cyber & Technology Risk to lead independent oversight of the Bank's cyber and technology risk posture. The role spans cybersecurity risk management and broader technology risk across North America, with a small team and senior executive influence.

The incumbent will drive risk strategy, issue resolution, and mature the risk program through analytics, governance, and advisory support to senior leadership and regulators.

Qualifications

15+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least five years in managing a team and influencing management and key stakeholders.
Experience in a large, complex, regulated financial services enterprise.
Strong capability in providing value-added recommendations and delivering high-impact results.

Responsibilities

Provide independent risk oversight across cyber and technology risk domains.
Lead governance, reporting, and risk update activities to senior management and boards.
Develop maturity models and KPIs/KRIs to measure program effectiveness.
Mentor and lead a diverse team across North America to improve risk posture.
