NexWav, based in Canada, seeks a Financial Controller to lead multi-site accounting operations. You will supervise and develop the team, manage closings, and drive financial insights that influence operational decisions.

The role is based in Boucherville with travel to support teams as needed. Ideal candidates hold a CPA title (or in progress), have at least 3 years in accounting, and excel in Excel and accounting software.

Formación

• CPA title obtained or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-site environment is required.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Fluent English with valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly financial statements for several entities.
• Participate in monthly and year-end closings.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances.
• Present financial results to managers and answer questions.
• Support operational teams in monitoring financial performance.
• Review the accounting cycle and ensure quality of information.
• Supervise AP/AR and general accounting activities.
• Ensure inventory reconciliations and balance sheet accuracy.
• Prepare files for external auditors and assist in audits.
• Collaborate on budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.
• Work with multiple branches to standardize practices; travel occasionally.
