This hands-on leadership role oversees financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow, job costing, WIP and inventory valuation, internal controls, and year-end readiness. CPA-level discipline and GAAP knowledge are essential to guide the team.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/construction.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: develop budgets and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Cost Analysis: monitor costs, identify drivers and optimization opportunities.
• Financial Compliance: ensure regulatory and internal policy compliance.
• Internal Controls: establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Financial Strategy: support profitability and growth through strategy and analysis.
• Financial Analysis: evaluate investments, capex, and pricing proposals.
• Inventory Management: oversee inventory accounting and valuation.
• Year-end: coordinate with external auditors and provide documentation.
• Ad Hoc Analysis: provide insights for strategic decisions.
