Job summary

Venor is partnering with Natural Forces Solar to recruit a Divisional Controller for Dartmouth, NS. You will join the Solar Leadership and Finance teams to oversee project performance and financial governance throughout the project lifecycle.

In this role, you will develop budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses, ensuring compliance and timely reporting. This is a strategic position in a growing renewable energy company based in Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, Finance.
• CPA designation preferred; candidates pursuing designation considered.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a project-based environment.
• Experience in a matrix organization or with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support timely customer invoicing and project billing.
• Review timesheets and expense reports to support project tracking.
• Prepare commercial analyses to support Operations.
• Develop financial models and forecasts for decision making.
• Lead project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with funding regulations; provide regular status reports.
• Administer security clearances for applicable projects.
