Strategic Development Program Trainee - Langford BC

• Full-time

EMCO Langford is a residential plumbing wholesaler offering a full-time position for Strategic Development Trainee. As a Strategic Development Program Trainee, you will progress through a 5-phase program designed to cover all aspects of our business, from shipping and receiving to sales, operations, purchasing, and account management.

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

Additional duties will include:

Phase 1 - Warehouse Logistics

• Learn about our products, supply chain from vendor to customer, and sales support processes.

Phase 2 - Counter/Operations

• Engage in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, and financial statements.
• Assist customers with product and service issues and manage large-scale projects.

Phase 4 - Outside Sales/Account Management

• Develop skills to find new business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with customers and vendors.

Phase 5

• Leverage your training to define your ideal career path within the company.

Qualifications:

• College and/or University degree
• Positive attitude and results-oriented mindset
• Desire to learn and grow
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and integrity
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of plumbing and building products is a plus
