Job summary

EMCO is hiring for its Strategic Development Program in Kelowna. This full-time, entry-level role offers hands-on training across operations, sales, purchasing and customer service, with mentorship and progression through five phases.

Graduates move into Outside Account Manager, Operations Manager and other roles within EMCO HVAC, with emphasis on customer service, teamwork and continuous learning, and a competitive CAD 42,500–47,500 yearly package including profit sharing and benefits.

• Assist outside sales/account management and learn contract negotiation and new business development.
• Explore placement phase to determine ideal career path.

Job Description

Strategic Development Program Phases:

As a Strategic Development ProgramTrainee, you will progress through a five phased program learning every aspect of our business from operations, to sales, purchasing, shipping and receiving, account management and everything in between.

Phase 1 – Warehouse Logistics – Develop HVAC Product knowledge and warehouse leadership skills. Assist the sales team in coordinating projects, shipments, and receiving inventory.

Phase 2 – Operations – Get involved in our customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.

Phase 3 – Inside Sales/Project Management – Build powerful relationships with our contractors and coordinate large-scale projects.

Phase 4 – Outside Sales/Account Management – Learn how to find new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and build new customer relationships.

Phase 5 – Placement –In this phase, you can take all your training and determine your ideal career path.
