Job summary

EMCO Corporation’s Management Development Program in West Kelowna is a full-time, salaried trainee role designed to develop future leaders in HVAC distribution across Canada. The program guides you through four phases—from warehouse and customer service to leadership and operations—offering mentorship, training, relocation support, and a base salary of CAD 52,500 with profit sharing.

Responsibilities

• Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service – Build product knowledge and gain hands on experience with the logistical side of the business and learn how our products get from the vendor to the customer, involvement in customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.
• Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement – Go from helping customers with various customer service issues to managing large-scale projects and problem solving, build relationships with customers and vendors, read blueprint drawings to create a quote of materials the customer will require.
• Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales – Focus on business development, learn how to find new business opportunities, how to sell our products, negotiate contracts expanding the customer base, and creating level 5 customer partnerships.
• Phase 4: Leadership and Operations – Provide a strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and run the business focusing on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

We are currently hiring a full time Management Development Trainee for our West Kelowna EMCO HVAC location.

Base Salary $52,500 + Profit Sharing

We are currently seekingnew or recent graduates to join ourManagement Development Program in EMCO HVAC West Kelowna.This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing.

Please note that successful candidates to this position may be required to relocate within Canada to complete their training. Preference is given to nearby locations for the candidate to get used to an area and Candidate input is highly valued. Relocation assistance will be provided. The Role:

As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4 phased program to learn every aspect of how our business operates – from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. You will get to know our customers by growing a sales territory of your own and providing world class customer service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates within a region and across Canada to build a successful management career at EMCO HVAC.

Program Outline:

Phase 4:Leadership and Operations– It is now your turn to provide a strategic vision, lead a team of your own, mentor others, and run the business by focusing on developing leadership competencies, supporting the team through coaching and mentoring, and setting vision and strategy.

Once you have completed the phases of training, you will be ready to take on the challenge of being a manager at one of our CanadianProfit Centerlocations.
