Job summary

Canadian Strategic Missions Corp. (CSMC) is seeking a high‑calibre Corporate Development Analyst with a background in management consulting, venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or top‑tier corporate strategy.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, technology, and national‑scale programs. You will build models, evaluate markets, shape investment theses, and support executive decision‑making across CSMC’s nuclear, defence, and advanced energy initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or related quantitative field.
  • 2–5+ years in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy.
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills, able to build models from scratch.
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and communication abilities for executive decisions.
  • Experience supporting executive-level decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep dive market, policy, and competitive analyses across nuclear, defence, aerospace, and advanced energy.
  • Build financial models (project economics, cost curves, valuation, scenarios).
  • Develop business cases for new technologies and market entry strategies.
  • Support M&A assessments and strategic investments; perform due diligence.
  • Prepare board materials and translate technical concepts for senior stakeholders.
