Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or related field; graduate degree asset.
• Minimum five years in communications or marketing with progressive responsibility.
• Experience with university communications support and processes is an asset.
• Advanced knowledge of communication principles and storytelling skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines across multiple projects.

• Develops and delivers effective communication and marketing strategies to enhance the college's reputation.
• Provides strategic advice for priority projects supporting branding and initiatives.
• Identifies focus areas to provide communications support and development.
• Engages internal stakeholders during planning and implementation.
• Maintains relationships with internal stakeholders across colleges and units.
• Crafts compelling content for alumni, partners, faculty, staff and students.
• Utilizes platforms including social media, website content, photography and video.
• Promotes consistent messaging and branding across channels.
• Designs accessible communications for diverse audiences and mediums.
