Ballad Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Manager, Communications & Insights to lead public relations, thought leadership, and strategic communications.

You will strengthen Ballad's reputation across Alberta and nationally by building relationships with media and influencers and translating insights into compelling stories. You will work closely with executive leadership, Marketing, and project teams to ensure Ballad remains visible in conversations that matter, while strengthening its position

Qualifications

• Showcase seven+ years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, public affairs, thought leadership, journalism, or related field.
• Proven ability to develop proactive PR strategies and earned media.
• Strong executive communications, thought leadership, and strategic content creation.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ballad's PR strategy across Alberta and nationally with clear annual priorities and measurable objectives.
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers; pitch stories and announcements.
• Lead media relations: inquiries, interviews, messaging, releases, and briefings.
• Monitor news cycles and advise leadership on sensitive issues and opportunities.
• Measure PR performance: reach, executive visibility, and reputation.
• Develop thought leadership and translate insights into compelling narratives.
