Job summary

The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is seeking a Communications Officer to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy and plans. Based in Kuujjuaq, the position requires a bachelor’s in communications, at least five years in public relations, and strong leadership with multilingual capability in Inuktitut, English, or French.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field; equivalency considered.
• Minimum of five years in public relations or communications.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication in at least two languages among Inuktitut, English, and French.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate relations with the media and liaise with media outlets.
