Job summary

IMP Group International Inc., headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is seeking a strategic CFO to lead financial stewardship across its multi-entity portfolio. Reporting to the President & CEO, the CFO will oversee corporate finance, treasury, tax, planning, risk management, and governance for the diversified businesses.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of senior financial leadership, CPA designation, and strong experience with capital allocation, M&A, and board interaction.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
• MBA considered an asset.
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience including senior finance roles.
• Experience within a diversified, multi-entity private company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate finance, accounting, treasury, tax, FP&A, reporting, and internal controls.
• Ensure integrity and timeliness of financial reporting across the organization.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement, and governance frameworks.
• Maintain strong financial governance and compliance across operating companies.
• Monitor performance and advise on profitability, cash flow, and ROI.
• Use data, analytics, and KPIs to drive decisions and recommendations.
• Maintain focus on profitability, cash flow, and operational excellence.
• Partner with CEO and executive team on strategic and financial planning.
