Okta in Canada (Hybrid) seeks a deep technical architect to lead strategic escalations, architectural guidance, and cross-functional collaboration across Developer Support and ISV Partnerships. You will shape product roadmaps, mentor engineers, and drive complex multi-product integrations with full autonomy.

The role focuses on delivering outcomes that unblock large accounts, with a strong emphasis on OAuth, SCIM, and enterprise-scale identity integrations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technical support, developer relations, solutions engineering, or similar with customer-facing experience.
• Education: BA/BS/MS in CS or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Cloud native approach across Azure, AWS, GCP and containerization.
• Identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML.
• SCIM provisioning at enterprise scale.
• Programming in Java/.NET/Go and Python/JS.
• Engineering mindset and SDLC understanding.
• Clear, adaptable communication with engineers and VPs.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership of complex developer cases including multi-product architectures.
• Cross-Functional Bridge between Developer Support and ISV Partnerships.
• Architectural Consulting on architecture issues beyond standard support.
• Roadmap Influence with Product Management and Engineering.
• Strategic Advisory for key accounts to manage risk and deliver resolutions.
• Internal Alignment across Product, Engineering, ISV Partnerships, and Operations.
• Mentorship of Senior DSEs and knowledge infrastructure for the team.
• Lead technical reviews and training for skill gaps and product knowledge.
• Champion new tools and processes in the team.

8+ years experience in tech support /

BA/BS/MS in CS or equivalent

Cloud platforms (Azure AWS GCP)

Containerization (Docker, Kubernettes)
