Job summary

MHIRJ in Canada is seeking a Business Reporting and Analytics Specialist to join the Information Technology team. This senior role blends strategy with hands-on report development to harmonize reporting, define standards, and transform data into strategic insights for leadership.

You will work with Databricks and Power BI, collaborate with IT and data platform teams, and promote a single source of truth while evolving analytics from descriptive to predictive insights, supporting senior

Qualifications

Over 7 years of experience in corporate reporting, BI, or analytics.
Solid hands-on Power BI skills: data modeling, DAX, performance optimization, and dashboard design.
Experience with modern data platforms, ideally Databricks.
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate reporting requirements into actionable insights for decision-making.
Experience producing reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

Design and develop corporate reports and datasets; manage full lifecycle including planning, refreshing, validation and dissemination.
Monitor report execution and proactively resolve failures to meet SLA commitments.
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for reporting incidents related to data, performance, and access.
Maintain reporting assets with version control, documentation, and controlled deployments.
Evolve analytics from descriptive to diagnostic and predictive insights to align with business priorities.
