Job summary

T-Lane Transportation is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager in Edmonton to quote and coordinate large-scale transportation projects, particularly within oil and gas, heavy haul, and specialized freight sectors.

With at least five years in quoting and coordinating major transports, you will price oversized movements, manage multi-load projects, and build strong customer relationships, coordinating with dispatch and carriers for successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience quoting and coordinating large-scale transportation projects.
• Experience pricing oversized and over-dimensional freight movements, including equipment selection, permitting, routing restrictions, and costs.
• Minimum five (5) years of trucking, heavy haul, or specialized transportation industry experience.
• Proven experience developing freight quotations and managing multi-load transportation projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotations for large-scale transportation projects including oversized and heavy haul freight.
• Analyze freight dimensions, weights, equipment requirements, routes, permits, and costs to price transportation.
• Plan and coordinate flat deck, step deck, heavy haul, oversized and cross-border shipments.
• Manage projects from bidding through delivery and billing and maintain client communication.
• Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and carriers to ensure project success and profitability.
