Mayfair Diagnostics in Calgary is seeking an Accounting & Payroll Manager to lead day-to-day accounting and bi-weekly payroll operations across multiple entities. You will shape financial processes, controls, reporting, and systems, partnering with HR, IT, and leadership to drive efficiency and accuracy.

The role requires CPA designation, a strong accounting background, and at least 5 years of progressive experience with payroll leadership.

Qualifikationen

• CPA designation is required.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing accounting and/or payroll teams.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, reconciliations, and management accounting.
• Experience with Sage Intacct and Ceridian Dayforce is a strong asset.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes across multiple entities.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, vendor payments, and financial reporting.
• Review complex transactions for accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for controls, workflows, and reporting.
• Oversee GST/PST remittances and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee payroll operations and contractor-related financials.
