Job summary

Bulk Barn Swift Current is seeking a Store Supervisor to help run daily operations, open/close the store, and oversee cash handling procedures. You will lead a small team, ensure shelves are stocked, and assist with warehouse orders while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, accurate till balancing, and timely reporting to the corporate office. A reliable schedule includes mornings, days, and evenings across seven days.

Qualifications

• Highschool education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience working in a retail environment.
• 1 year supervising a team.
• 1 year working under pressure, multi-tasking and managing time.
• Intermediate communication skills.
• 1 year working experience in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store, including arming and disarming store alarms.
• Count and balance tills and float at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Conduct daily safe audits.
• Operate the cash register and POS system, administering Supervisor POS functions.
• Manage transactions and the cash register with honesty and integrity.
• Restock store shelves, barrels, tubs, pails, and displays.
• Facilitate and assist with placing Warehouse and DSD orders.
• Facilitate and assist with receiving Warehouse and DSD orders, including tracking expiry dates.
• Prepare and deliver the daily deposit to the nearest TD Bank.
• Submit daily and weekly paperwork to Corporate Office.
