SmartStop Self Storage Canada is seeking an energetic Store Manager (Store #1507) with strong sales, marketing, and customer service skills to drive profitability and world-class service at our self-storage facility. The Store Manager will lead leasing, tenant relations, and daily operations, supervise staff, and maintain an organized office.

You will engage customers, follow up on leads, and manage relationships with tenants and vendors while ensuring units are rent-ready and processes run

• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages.

Responsibilities

• Prior retail sales or leasing experience and customer service experience.
• Enjoy providing excellent customer service and renting storage spaces.
• Answer and respond to telephone calls and emails about rentals and tenant issues.
• Maintain the office and the property by keeping it neat, clean, and secure, and keeping units rent-ready.
• Accepts payments, maintains accurate petty cash log and can prepare and make daily bank deposits.
• Responsible for the sales, marketing, occupancy, and delinquency management of the facility.
• Keeping the facility rented at optimum levels by effectively utilizing advertising, promotional and customer relation skills as approved by management.
• Provides outstanding customer service including assessing and resolving customer problems and professionally handling telephone and walk-in inquiries.
• Shows, rents and cleans self-storage units as well as actively selling and maintaining supplies of moving and packing materials.
• Effectively communicates with management and fellow employees.
• Prepare units for auction and vacates units as prescribed by law and approved by management.
• Self-starter with excellent sales skills and an expertise in customer service.
• Team player who thrives on working with others.
• Detail orientated with an eye on cleanliness and organization.
