Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation seeks a Store Manager (Class 5) to lead all aspects of store operations, deliver outstanding shopper experiences, and drive sales performance in a fast-paced retail environment.
The role provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team, while ensuring staffing, performance management, and compliance with NSLC values and social responsibility commitments.
The Store Manager (Class 5) is responsible for leading all aspects of store operations, delivering exceptional shopper experiences, driving sales performance, and ensuring strong financial and operational results. This role provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to build, develop, and inspire a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.
The successful candidate will coach, mentor, and develop team members to foster engagement, accountability, and operational excellence, while creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The Store Manager is accountable for staffing, performance management, and talent development to ensure the store is positioned for long-term success.
This role also oversees budget management, inventory control, merchandising standards, and operational compliance, while championing the NSLC’s commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and organizational values. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills are essential to effectively lead teams, support business objectives, and drive continuous improvement.
