ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:
Leadership and Management: Supervises 2 or more full-time employees, including Assistant Managers, Lead Representatives, and Customer Service Representatives. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff to ensure excellent customer service. Manages store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels according to company standards. Maintains a professional image and schedules staff to optimize customer service and store presentation. Implements non-discriminatory management practices in hiring, training, counseling, and separation processes.
Store Relationships: Builds positive relationships with suppliers, promotes excellent service, resolves customer complaints promptly, and maintains a safe, positive community image. Ensures consistent onsite attendance.
Training and Development: Conducts ongoing performance appraisals, provides feedback, and ensures timely completion of training. Trains employees on customer service, store standards, safety procedures, and cash handling. Mentors staff to reduce risk and improve performance.
Communications: Ensures effective communication with staff through meetings and updates, establishing regular communication channels with employees and district management.
Organizing and Planning: Develops action plans to meet store objectives, maintains files and manuals, supervises report completion, and ensures proper merchandise display and pricing. Ensures employment posters are accessible.
Financial: Analyzes sales and expenses to maximize profitability. Manages budgets, forecasts, cash, and inventory. Notifies management of discrepancies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 50+ hours weekly, lift up to 50 pounds, work in extreme temperatures, and stand or walk for long periods. Exposure to noise and outdoor conditions may occur.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Primarily indoor work, with some outdoor tasks. Requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. May involve cleaning and maintenance tasks.
