Rexall Pharmacy Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a busy retail team in Canada. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, coaching staff, and supporting store operations to hit revenue and profit targets.

You will assist with recruiting, training, and developing associates, managing performance, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards while upholding Rexall values.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience within a retail environment.
• 1-2 years experience within a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills and results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to recruit, train and motivate staff while maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate outstanding sales ability, leadership capabilities, and contribute to the overall store concept with energy, enthusiasm, and strong communication.
• Assist with human resource activities including recruitment, training, development, motivation, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures.
• Ensure exceptional customer service/patient care for the store.
• Assist the Front Store Manager in achieving budgeted sales, gross profit, EBITDA, inventory targets, labour costs, shrink, and controllable store expenses.
• Model development of subject matter expertise at store level in Health and Wellness, merchandising, loss prevention, and patient care.
