Job Description

As the front line staff member, the Store Clerk has a significant impact on our relationship with our customers. They are the main contact for both existing and potential new customers visiting our store and office. The ideal candidate must be customer-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

Chandlery:

1. Provide excellent customer service
2. Assist customers in the marina store with products
3. Chandlery sales (POS)
4. Receiving customer payments
5. Balancing cash register POS
6. Maintaining the marine store, stocking shelves, managing inventory, cleaning products, setting up displays, etc.
7. Receiving and merchandising stock

General:

1. Answering telephones
2. Maintaining customer files and records
3. Performing regular office duties
4. Assisting with special event coordination
5. Barista duties
6. Performing other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Job Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Friendly and professional telephone manner
• Sales experience, thriving in a social retail environment
• Knowledge of the boating lifestyle
