Job summary

GUESS Factory in Delta, BC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee customer experience, train staff, and maintain store standards on the floor and in the stockroom. You will lead by example on sales floors and support the Store Manager in daily operations.

The role requires a track record of driving sales, proficiency with PC software, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long shifts. You will coach associates and help achieve store profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience driving sales and profit results, and training and developing a team.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee customer experience and store staff development.
• Lead by example on the selling floor and maintain store standards on floor and stockroom.
• Meet or exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Manage payroll, loss prevention, and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain excellent communication and adaptability; multitask as needed.
