Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods is seeking candidates for full-time shifts in Canada. The role involves maintaining stock, receiving parts, cycle counting, sourcing materials, issuing POs, and adhering to food safety guidelines in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attendance and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the stock room for the right item at the right location along with receiving stock.
• Receive parts on a daily basis.
• Conduct all required cycle counts and keep track of the material receipt with shipping.
• Source the materials as required by Maintenance supervisor.
• Issue PO’s to the Maintenance Purchaser.
• Maintain and locate parts, follow standard operating procedures.
• Backup for various coordinator tasks when necessary.
• Adhere to all food safety, health & safety, HACCP, WHMIS and good manufacturing practices guidelines and applicable statues and procedures.
• Monitor all parts being used by trades.
• Apply mechanically inclined skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft office.
• Use SAP system, experience with SAP is an asset, will provide training.

• Maintain housekeeping the Stock room
