Adecco Canada is seeking a Retail Receiver to support a client in the East-end of Ottawa on a part-time basis. This 1-month temporary role offers 25–35 hours per week with flexible days and a pay rate of $18.50/hour.
The site is Trainyards, Ottawa, ON, and duties include receiving shipments, preparing documents, and unloading/loading trucks. Eligible to work in Canada with English proficiency required.
Adecco is currently looking for a Retail Receiver to work part-time hours for our client located in East-end of Ottawa. This would be 25-35 hours a week, with some flexibility for which days are worked. Responsibilities:
Receive and unpack shipments of materials and grocery items to be unloaded to storage;
To prepare appropriate documents and maintain records
To ensure that all shipments are accurately and properly prepared to the customer's destination
Unloading and loading trucks with tires
Some cleaning
Other Duties as assigned
The Retail Receiver must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Must hold a at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED;
Availability to work within 8:00 – 19:00 Monday to Sunday;
Written, Oral and Spoken communication skills in English;
Basic Physical abilities (lifting boxes up to 50 lbs);
Strong attention to detail and data reporting skills;
Experience in assembly/sawdering would be considered an asset;
Light industrial experience would be considered an asset.
