Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is looking for a Receiver to join our team in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. The Receiver will play a critical role in ensuring products are received and shelved properly, contributing to a positive shopping experience.

No previous experience is required, as training will be provided. We seek adaptable individuals who can work various hours, including days and weekends. Starting pay is competitive, ranging from $15.35 to $26.05 per hour, as per our collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a positive environment in the store.
  • Receive and unload new shipments.
  • Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse.
  • Stock the retail floor when necessary.
  • Count all inventory and report any discrepancies.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist customers with general inquiries.

About the role

Whether picking up a bag of cookies, a sweet new outfit or a cart full of essentials, our Receiver team members contribute to building memorable experiences by receiving and unloading new products in the store’s warehouse and stocking the retail floor. We appreciate our Receiver team members for all they do and their support in initiatives that help provide the best in-store experience for shoppers like ourselves in all our stores across Canada. What you’ll do
  • Maintain a positive environment in the store
  • Receive and unload new shipments
  • Store inventory in the correct areas of the warehouse
  • Stock the retail floor when necessary
  • Count all inventory and report any discrepancies
  • Keep the warehouse organized
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Support the delivery of promotions and programs
  • Assist customers with general inquiries
  • Keep department area organized
  • Maintain established health and safety standards

What you bring
  • Flexibility to work a variety of departments and hours which may include days, evenings, and weekends
  • Able to move up to 50 lbs and maintain constant mobility for an entire shift

Hiring Range / Échelle salariale à l’embauche: $15.35 - $26.05 per hour (per hour / de l’heure). This is a unionised position and pay rates for this position are set out in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The range stated is the starting range for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
