Fraser Health Authority in Burnaby is seeking a dedicated Sterile Supply Processor to support the operating room and hospital services. You will decontaminate, sterilize and distribute instruments, and ensure timely availability of supplies for surgical and clinical teams.

Position requires completion of a Sterile Supply Processing program, Grade 12, and at least one year of related experience. The role offers hospital benefits and a collaborative, patient-focused team environment within Fraser

Qualificações

• Grade 12 and completion of a recognized Sterile Supply Processing program plus one year of related experience or an equivalent mix of education and training.
• Knowledge of surgical and medical terminology.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with others.

Responsabilidades

• Receives, decontaminates, sterilizes and distributes sterile supplies and instruments for the operating room and hospital areas.
• Prepares equipment and supplies for storage and distribution following established procedures.
• Operates departmental equipment including washers and sterilizers; reports malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintains stock and assists with inventory control and clerical duties.
• Participates in the department's quality assurance program and staff orientation.
