DryBuild Group is seeking an experienced steel framing subcontractor for ongoing residential and commercial projects across Calgary. You must bring your own tools and vehicle and have solid steel stud framing experience.

This project-based role offers reliable subcontractors opportunities on diverse interior framing assignments. Ideal candidates will work independently, follow drawings and site instructions, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous steel framing experience is required.
• Must be a subcontractor or able to work as one.
• Own tools and reliable vehicle are required.
• Ability to read drawings and layouts.
• Punctual, reliable and respectful on site.

Responsibilities

• Complete steel framing work according to project scope and site requirements.
• Lay out and build steel stud walls, bulkheads, soffits, ceiling framing and related components.
• Read drawings and follow measurements accurately.
• Ensure framing is straight, secure and ready for drywall installation.
• Install backing and support framing where required.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow safety guidelines and site instructions carefully.
• Communicate progress, scheduling and material needs clearly.
• Deliver clean, professional workmanship on every project.
