This position involves providing expertise in research design and statistical analysis within Dr. Laura Schummers’s research team. Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, developing research methodologies, leading complex statistical analyses, and collaborating on multi-jurisdictional projects involving administrative health data. The role requires advanced programming skills in SAS, R, or Stata, and experience with health administrative datasets.
The Statistical Analyst will support various projects related to reproductive health, policy impacts, and epidemiology, contributing to grant proposals, methodological development, and publication of research findings. They will also mentor team members and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
Minimum qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Statistics with at least three years of research analysis experience. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in statistics or computer data processing and extensive experience with large datasets and statistical software.
The role reports to the Principal Investigator, involves independent work within a team, and requires excellent communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.
