Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Starbucks Supervisor on the Saint Mary's University campus to lead shifts, coach a team, and ensure top-notch guest experiences. The role requires 3+ years of leadership and 1+ year in food service, with assets for Starbucks familiarity and strong food safety knowledge.

You will manage inventory, cash handling, and daily sales while Maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' leadership experience required.
• 1+ years' food services experience required.
• Experience with Starbucks or similar specialty coffee franchise is asset.
• Extensive knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards is asset.
• Strong organizational and team-building skills with ability to coach and motivate team members.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

• Quality & Standards: Ensure all coffee, beverages, and food items are prepared to Starbucks standards, following health and safety guidelines.
• Administrative Support: Assist management with opening/closing checklists, temp logs, and daily sales tracking.
• Guest Experience: Resolve customer inquiries promptly and ensure high-speed, friendly service during high-volume periods.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Enforce HACCP, WHMIS, and provincial food safety regulations; conduct daily temperature and equipment checks.

Job Responsibilities

Operational Leadership: Run clean, well-organized shifts that prioritize safety, efficiency, and exceptional customer service.

Inventory & Financial Control: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, minimize product waste, and perform cash handling/reconciliation duties including float management and register audits.

Quality & Standards:Ensure all coffee, beverages, and food items are prepared to Starbucks standards, strictly following health and safety guidelines

• Administrative Support: Assist management with administrative duties such as opening/closing checklists, temp logs, and daily sales tracking.
• Guest Experience: Set the standard for guest satisfaction by resolving customer inquiries promptly and ensuring high-speed, friendly service during high-volume periods.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Enforce strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols (HACCP, WHMIS, and provincial food safety regulations). Conduct daily food temperature and equipment checks.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This is a contract position with the posibility of leading to a permanent position within or outside of Aramark at Saint Mary's University. The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00.
