Job summary

Hyatt Regency Calgary Starbucks is hiring a Barista to join our Food & Beverage team. You will engage with guests, prepare beverages, handle payments, and help maintain a welcoming space.

Must have flexible availability, be able to lift weight, and have valid Canadian work authorization. Prior barista experience is a plus as we strive to deliver warm, memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Open and flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid work authorization for Canada.
• Previous Barista experience is an asset.

Join our Food and Beverage Starbucks Team. As a Starbucks Barista you will have an opportunity to create unique experiences and connect with our guests and community. A cup of coffee and a smile make a difference!

Help create a welcoming, clean, and inviting space where guests love to spend time.

Handle cash and card payments smoothly and accurately.

Build genuine connections by engaging with our guests and customers, making every visit memorable.

Learn and follow Hyatt’s Food and Beverage standards to deliver excellent food and drinks.

Able to lift a moderate amount of weight.

Must have an open and flexible availability to work various shifts which would also include weekends and holidays.

Valid work authorization for Canada.

Previous Barista experience will be an asset.

This role will typically allow a minimum of 8 upto 29 hours per week for Part-Time.

The starting hourly rate is $19 per hour.
