Job summary

Hyatt Regency Calgary Starbucks is seeking a friendly Barista to join our Food and Beverage team. You will engage with guests, prepare beverages, take orders, and maintain a clean, welcoming space on the floor.

Starting hourly rate is CAD 19 with minimum 30 hours per week. Weekend and holiday shifts required. Prior barista experience is an asset, and Canada work authorization is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum open and flexible availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Valid work authorization for Canada.
• Previous Barista experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Help create a welcoming, clean, and inviting space where guests love to spend time.
• Handle cash and card payments smoothly and accurately.
• Build genuine connections by engaging with our guests and customers, making every visit memorable.
• Learn and follow Hyatt’s Food and Beverage standards to deliver excellent food and drinks.
• Able to lift a moderate amount of weight.
• Be flexible with shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Ensure smooth operation of the Starbucks service area.
