VGS is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to architect agentic payment infrastructure and secure APIs at scale. You will own design decisions across security, reliability, and performance while advancing AI-assisted development.

You will work on production-grade tokenization platforms, cryptographic workflows, and secure data handling with Kubernetes, Terraform, and OpenTelemetry to enable trusted global payments.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience taking personal ownership of outcomes in complex, distributed systems.
• Strong with cloud infrastructure and security-driven engineering practices.
• Experience designing and delivering high-risk payment or security platforms.

Mansioni

• Architect Agentic Payment Infrastructure and define API platforms for enrollment, provisioning, and cryptogram workflows.
• Own security, reliability, scale, and performance across critical payment systems.
• Build deep observability with structured logging, tracing, metrics, and alerts.
