Job summary

Clio is seeking a Staff Software Developer to join its growing engineering team. This role is open to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and will focus on the Fintech portfolio to enhance billing adoption and launch new financial products.

You will contribute to architectural direction, partner with managers on roadmaps, and mentor engineers while delivering scalable solutions. This role embraces innovation, AI-assisted coding, and collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

Extensive software development experience with scalable web applications.
Mentorship and leadership in Agile SaaS environments.
Experience designing and operating high-throughput distributed systems in payments/invoicing domains.
Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical stakeholder across multiple projects.
Define the technical roadmap in collaboration with development managers.
Drive multi-year architectural direction for your area and unblock opportunities.
Review and provide feedback on code to ensure quality and maintainability.
Orchestrate AI agents to assist in designing and writing high-quality code.
