Job summary

Synopsys Inc in Vancouver, Canada, seeks an experienced software engineer specializing in C++ with a strong foundation in 3D geometry, meshing, or related workflows. You will contribute to the 3D editor in Ansys Electronics Desktop, improving geometry and meshing workflows for electromagnetic simulation.

Qualifications

• BSEE, BSCS or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD with relevant experience.
• Strong C++ skills in performance-sensitive software development.
• Solid understanding of 3D geometry modeling, algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Working knowledge of meshing concepts and geometry issues that affect simulation success.
• Exposure to AI/ML in geometry, CAD or related workflows is a plus.
• Experience in commercial software development is a plus.
