The Role

This is a remote-first role based in Canada or the United States. You will be the lead designer in our Fintech team, responsible for empowering small business owners with financial management tools. You will drive strategy, influence the roadmap, and work across teams to create user-centric experiences.

Responsibilities

1. Drive high-impact design projects from concept to delivery.
2. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to understand customer needs and align on goals.
3. Define and execute UX strategy, translating complex challenges into scalable solutions.
4. Mentor and support other designers, fostering growth and collaboration.
5. Advocate for customer-centric design throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

1. 7+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio.
2. Proficiency in design tools like Figma and Figma-related tools.
3. Curiosity, proactivity, and a knack for innovative problem-solving.
4. Expertise in visual and interaction design.
5. Ability to balance long-term vision with iterative delivery.
6. Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and visual mediums.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary ranges from $145,900 to $197,400, complemented by equity, health and wellness stipends, retirement matching, and extended health benefits.
