Job summary

Pursuit is seeking a full-time, year-round team member for housekeeping/maintenance roles in Canada. The starting wage is $24.00/hour.

Responsibilities include room inspections, repairs, deep cleaning, snow removal, and assisting the Housing Manager with projects. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience, a valid Alberta driver’s license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• At least one year of housekeeping or maintenance experience is preferred.
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is required.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.
• Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete room inspections after move-outs to ensure cleanliness.
• Complete basic repairs and attend to maintenance requests.
• Conduct deep cleaning tasks and project work such as painting, coordinating furniture moves, and troubleshooting appliances.
• Snow removal and lawn care.
• Support the Housing Manager with capital projects and staff housing improvements.
• Assist the housing team with bi-monthly inspections.
• Clean and prepare rooms for move-ins.
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
• Clean public areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.
• Arrange for monthly common area clear-outs.
• Meet and greet new team members as instructed by the housing team.
• Follow health and safety regulations.
• Participate in after-hours Housing Department on-call rotation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience
