Job summary

Okta is hiring a Staff Fullstack Engineer for the Secures AI team in Canada. You will architect the industry's first Identity Security Fabric for the agentic era and lead backend and frontend work that enforces least privilege for human and non-human identities.

Focus areas include AI-native development, Discover/Onboard/Protect/Govern pillars, secure access, and scalable, enterprise-grade software on AWS. Hybrid work with compensation up to CAD 220k base plus equity where applicable.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of web authentication and authorization fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Shape the technical strategy of the Identity Security Fabric.
• Govern and monitor agentic behavior across fullstack ecosystems.
• Architect for the agentic era with least-privilege access for all agents.
• Drive AI-native development practices and CI/CD improvements.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to focus on customer outcomes.
• Mentor peers and raise the technical bar for the team.
