Job summary

Babylist is seeking a Staff Engineer in Canada to own a domain, set direction and drive large-scale AI-enabled platforms. You’ll influence multiple teams, ship critical features, and ensure quality outcomes for families using Babylist’s services.

You’ll work across product, design and data, mentoring engineers and shaping the roadmap with a strong emphasis on AI-driven solutions. Remote-first with collaboration across North America.

Responsibilities

• > Take a fuzzy business problem from sketch to production and stay on the hook for impact.
• < Build the platform or tooling other teams adopt and own it as it scales.
• < Make architecture calls that span teams and are hard to reverse.
• < Set standards for AI-enabled domain products and evaluate outputs before shipping.
• < Partner with product, design and data as a peer from the start.
