Wilkinson & Company LLP in Belleville, Ontario, is seeking a Staff Accountant, Articling for the January 2027 cohort. You will prepare working papers, financial statements and compilations, and assist with audits, reviews, and tax engagements while collaborating with clients and colleagues.

You’ll gain exposure to Caseware, TaxPrep, QuickBooks and Sage, support CPA progression, and enjoy a small-firm culture with strong learning opportunities and mentorship.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree completed and CPA PEP eligibility or preparation underway.
• Experience in public accounting is an asset.
• Knowledge of accounting standards and Income Tax Act is desirable.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Applicants must have completed their university degree and be prepared and eligible to enroll in the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Specializing in Accounting is preferred);
• Previous public accounting related experience is an asset;
• Knowledge of accounting standards and the Income Tax Act.
• Previous client/customer service related experience is an asset;
• The ability to work effectively as a member of the team;
• The ability to effectively communicate with peers and clients both written and orally; and
• Experience working with, or familiarity with accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Tax Prep, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting is beneficial.
