Job summary

MDD Forensic Accountants in Toronto invites applications for a Staff Accountant role that supports the accounting team with a strong technical background in accounting/finance and solid communication.

The ideal candidate will have 0–3 years of experience, be working toward the CPA designation, and can work independently or as part of a team in a hybrid environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters or upcoming graduate.
• Working towards the Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA).
• Up to 3 years work experience (post degree).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• Must be able to work under pressure or tight deadlines.
• Ability to understand a business and how loss events have impacted it.
• Willingness to accept increasing responsibility as experience grows.

• Check and proof reports and schedules.
