Job description

Job Duties:

1. Support the month end general ledger close - prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
2. Assist in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and other internal and external financial reporting.
3. Support sales and use tax filings.
4. Assist in the preparation of annual operating budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
5. Support income tax research/special projects, filings and accounting treatments.
6. Identify areas of concern/opportunity and recommend corrective actions.
7. Other general accounting responsibilities and special projects as required.
8. Support financial reviews and audits conducted by independent auditors.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college/university.
2. Experience with large ERP systems, SAP preferred.
3. Experience of organizing multiple sales and use tax returns and reconcile monthly sales and use tax.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
