Job summary

Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Analyst for Stablecoin Supervision to develop and implement supervisory policies for new stablecoin mandates. Qualifications

• Policy development experience in finance/payments/technology sectors
• Delivery of projects with development of operational policies and SOPs
• Collaboration across policy, legal, technology and operations
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities to convey recommendations to senior leaders
• Ability to perform risk assessments using established supervisory standards

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of the new mandate to regulate stablecoins
• Develop supervisory expectations with input to regulations and Bank guidance
• Engage with industry consultations and regulatory engagements to clarify expectations
• Assist with business transformation and internal readiness across IT, legal, and corporate functions
• Collaborate with partners to deliver the mandate and transition to ongoing supervision of regulated entities
