Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking an Educational Assistant for St. Vital Catholic School. The role runs 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday, commencing immediately with a contract ending June 30, 2027.

The successful candidate will support core subjects in both small groups and the classroom. The Right Person will value working with children, demonstrate patience and empathy, and collaborate effectively with staff in a faith-based school setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate in Early Learning & Childcare or Youth Care Worker would be an asset.

Responsibilities

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant Position at St. Vital Catholic School, commencing immediately and has a contract end date of June 30, 2027. Hours of work are 6 hours per day, Monday to Friday. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
