Job summary

Living Sky School Division is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Educational Assistant for Lawrence Elementary School. The position commences as soon as possible and ends June 30, 2027, supporting students in small groups and classroom settings to promote engagement and success.

The successful applicant will collaborate with teachers, communicate effectively, and bring patience, empathy, and organized planning to a dynamic learning environment that values diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one year relevant childcare experience.
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset.

This posting is for a Temporary Full-Time 1.0 FTE Educational Assistant Position at Lawrence Elementary School, commencing as soon as possible, and ending June 30, 2027. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
• Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset
