We are seeking an innovative, experienced, and agile project manager who is driven by accelerating the planning, execution, and reporting of globally run clinical trials and who is motivated to make a difference in reimagining medicine.

About the role:

As a Regional (LaCan – Latin America and Canada) Clinical Project Manager, you will be the single point of contact to the Global study team regarding your LaCan Cluster assigned trials. You will be accountable for the execution and reporting of assigned trials, creating and driving project strategy, and collaborating in a dynamic environment with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will work directly with global study teams and local clinical research teams and reports to the Portfolio Team Lead.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Study Start-up Manager in developing country/cluster/hub study execution plans and timelines.
  • Participate in the recruitment sub-team and support the development of innovative solutions for site and patient participation to ensure timely delivery of studies.
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities for assigned studies and develop mitigation plans.
  • Drive study conduct by tracking status, maintaining reporting systems, overseeing forecasts, progress, and mitigation plans to ensure operational aspects are on track.
  • Oversee local study team activities to achieve timelines and quality, proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct or coordinate training for CRAs to support site readiness, ensuring adherence to standards, legislation, GCP, Ethics, and SOPs.
  • Maintain oversight of data management activities, review patient profiles, and proactively address data entry issues.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical integrity, ensuring human subject protection and reliable trial results.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Essential:

  • A degree in a scientific or health discipline; advanced degrees with clinical trial experience are preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in clinical research overseeing project management or monitoring trials.
  • Ability to lead in a matrix environment without direct reports and manage studies across countries.
  • Strong project management skills with problem-solving and mediation abilities.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills with internal and external partners.

Desirable:

  • Bilingual in English and French; Spanish is an asset.
  • Experience in therapeutic areas such as Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism, Immunology, Oncology, or Neuroscience.
