Job summary

Kinaxis is seeking a Site Reliability Engineering co-op/intern in Ottawa. You will help deliver SaaS, ensure SLAs, and collaborate across teams. The role involves hands-on infrastructure support, cloud exposure (Azure/GCP), and incident ownership in a global production environment.

The position is hybrid, requiring presence in the Ottawa office several days a week, and runs for 8 or 12 months starting January 2027. Open to co-ops/interns currently enrolled in full-time studies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in computer science or a related discipline.
• Proven strong troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to CGRP security requirements.
• Knowledge of remote system administration, system performance monitoring, SaaS technologies, public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), scripting with PowerShell and Ansible, and hardware break-fix troubleshooting would help.

• Deploy, upgrade, and support numerous applications, services and operating systems.
• Exposure to infrastructure such as VMware, Kubernetes, storage, networking.
• Exposure to public clouds (Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on infrastructure support and hardware lifecycle management in an enterprise data center.
• Troubleshoot system performance and application health issues.
• Take ownership of incident resolution and adhere to security and confidentiality requests.
• May contribute to additional projects as requested.
