What You’ll Do:
  • Assess and evaluate risks for new and existing business (Fleet, Garage), with a focus on National Fleets
  • Analyze reports to resolve adequate exposure and loss ratings.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, pricing levels and policy form amendments.
  • Manage and negotiate renewal terms for the retention of business.
  • Work with brokers to develop new business opportunities
  • Apply loss control and risk management practices in the underwriting process.
  • Respond to inquiries from brokers regarding modification to policy files in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Build and maintain excellent broker relationships and management of assigned broker portfolios.
  • Provide excellent Customer service.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 5–10 years of Commercial Auto underwriting experience (Fleet & Garage)
  • CIP designation (completed or in progress) preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative
  • Comfortable working independently and in a hybrid team environment
  • Proficient with standard business software; RTM system knowledge is an asset
  • Able to manage deadlines and perform well under pressure
