BGIS is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to perform code-compliant testing and inspections, assess risks, and report on fire prevention topics in line with ULC, NFC, NFPA standards. The role involves liaising between building occupants, facility managers, and BGIS as the main client.
You will collaborate with BGIS departments to support integrated building operations and participate in development opportunities across related roles.
In this role, the Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for completing code-compliant testing and inspections. Additionally, assessing risks, reporting, and proposing possible solutions on topics related to fire prevention in compliance with the ULC, NFC, NFPA and other regulatory requirements.
CA$27.79–CA$34.73 hourly
This Fire Alarm Technician will report to the Regional Operations Manager. In this role, the Fire Alarm Technician will be responsible for completing code-compliant testing and inspections. Additionally, assessing risks, reporting, and proposing possible solutions on topics related to fire prevention in compliance with the ULC, NFC, NFPA and other regulatory requirements. They will liaise between building occupants, facility managers, and various stakeholders with BGIS.
This role will work in collaboration with all key BGIS departments to ensure full support of all activities and play a key role in our INTEGRATED approach to operating buildings.

This is a regular, full-time position with a hourly pay rate of $30.48 - $42.00 per hour. The starting rate will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role.
